Position Summary


We are looking for a focused Data Entry Specialist to continuously update our company's databases. The Data Entry Specialist will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information. The Data Entry Specialist will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.

 

Primary Responsibilities

    Electronically input patient demographics and prescriptions into pharmacy software (Salesforce), with a high degree of accuracy
    Identify errors and add new, critical information to software to assist the customer service and pharmacist team
    Maintain all incoming scripts received by physician offices, remove unwanted faxes, and reconcile duplicate prescriptions
    Work directly and communicate effectively in writing with other team members, including data entry specialists, customer service representatives, pharmacists, and management to provide accurate information
    Maintain a high level of focus while doing repetitive data-entry tasks
    Use professional judgment of when to escalate an issue to a pharmacist or manager
    Ensure all information entered is complete and accurate
    Navigate through multiple systems, including web-based platforms, shared drives, emails, and job training materials
    Electronically process patient insurance as needed

Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Preferred, but not required: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a data entry environment.
    SUPERB attention to detail (If you catch every typo on a restaurant menu, you're the kind of person we are looking for!)
    Great written communication skills
    The ability to work independently with strong self-motivation
    Thorough in completing tasks
    Typing Speed of at least 30 WPM, with a HIGH level of accuracy
    Self-motivated, proactive, and organized
    Experience with Windows and Google Suite preferred
    Strong attendance and punctuality are necessary for all training and scheduled shifts
